This bottle was commissioned by Diageo plc , owner of Crown Royal,

and the largest multinational beer, wine and spirits company in the world.

It was presented to Michael Wilson, the Canadian Ambassador to the United States,

by the President of Diageo, both pictured above, as a gift to be presented to

Barak Obama on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009.

 

The gold on the lip and foot is 22 Karat, melted onto the glass.
